Well Traveled

The apartment was ‘off the plan’ in the inner city seaside suburb of Williamstown in Melbourne. My client had lived in the area for years and was ‘down sizing’ from her nearby large heritage family home.

Being a new build, my client wanted her new home to have a sense of history. Adding to existing furniture pieces, trinkets from travels including a Persian rug, she wanted her new home to feel comfortable, colourful and reflect her life and interests. Cues from the amazing bay and city views were also relevant considerations in designing the interior.

The home now reflects my client and her experiences. It’s gone from a new build to a home with a sense of history and place.

What People Are Saying

“I bought a new apartment, it was a blank canvas. I had no idea where to begin.

Katie opened my eyes to colours and furnishings I wouldn’t have considered. Our discussions and shopping expeditions were a delight and the end product amazing.

I’m so glad I had Katie to travel this journey with me, she made what I thought would be hard work into a fabulous experience.

I have had friends visit and tell me how much the apartment depicts my personality. I have Katie to thank for that, she has the ability to know what you would like.

I now have a beautiful apartment which welcomes me every time I come home.

Thank you Katie!”
