This home office references travels and memories of the owner’s ties to Scotland. He wanted the room to feel calming, familiar and cocooning. Importantly, the room needed to reflect his experiences. Soothing colours of blues and greens were used to anchor the room. The blind was created using a cotton fabric reminiscent of heather growing wild in Scotland. The throw rug was from the small isle of Iona, where the owner spent time wandering the rugged and windswept landscape.
