Blairgowrie Beach House

This beachside 1970’s holiday house on the Mornington Peninsula needed a minor refresh to make it more welcoming, cosy and relaxing for family and friends.

Most of the changes were cosmetic, being the shifting of existing furniture, new key pieces and a careful choice of colours and textures to enliven the spaces. The brief was for the home to feel liveable and more contemporary but not precious.

The result is a holiday home where the owners can relax and switch off from the working week in the city. So much so that the owners often don’t want to leave!

Thank you Katie, you have transformed our beach house. The property was really tired and out of date and definitely needed a facelift. We were struggling with the best way to go about doing this and after you listened to our ideas, provided your own thoughts and expertise and turned our house around in record time. We couldn’t be happier.
